went past there at the weekend and could see people walking in out of the office and was thinking it would be neat if it was turned into something other than expensive flats/boutique hotel. Yes its still a bit gentrification but I like to see it being used.

I enjoyed walking along that path back in the day, I seem to remember it was mostly local peeps that used to it as all the tourists would huff up the top of the cliffs or Arthur's Seat.

Why has one of Edinburgh's best views been off-limits for seven years?
The historic Radical Road path was closed in 2018 due to rockfall but a plan for its full reopening has still to be agreed.

The BBC has always been governed by the Tory Toffs or people hired by the Tory Toffs. At least though they had the sense that when they crossed the door that they remained faithfull to its charter to inform and educate. Now even this has been worn away by the fevred frothing of right wing press.
Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

On a autumnal theme again. This is the sitting room carpet of my childhood home that my mum still lives in. The carpet has not changed since 1974 when we moved in. My parents always talked about changing it at various times- never got round to it though.
