The separatist movement in Alberta is being fueled to a great degree by people encouraging Albertans to “vote for separation to send a message to those in power (Ottawa) and get us a better deal…but don’t worry, we won’t actually separate.”

Uh…that’s basically how Brexit happened.

Could someone at LBC give credit to the SNP for policies (often furiously opposed by the labour MSPs) that have resulted in fewer school exclusions? It is clear labour are trying to make changes without ever mentioning they already are in place in Scotland. You wonder why we vote SNP?

They have been promoting it 24/7 for five years.

I predicted this would happen - all Western Nations will eventually have to adopt the same principle.

With rapidly ageing populations and much reduced parity birth rate, it's the only way we will be able to sustain our wealth and culture.

When will the UK work this out ??

I recently learned something amazing about the Arctic - & my tiny mind is blown.

Like many folk, I've always believed it's a featureless, empty place. Which is true! But this week I learned what's underneath it - & if THAT was on dry land, it'd be a wonder of the modern world.

Buckle up!

On Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and all victims of Nazi persecution.

We have an enormous responsibility to pass the survivors’ stories to the next generation, and to confront antisemitism and hatred wherever we find it.
