Polling from @amnestyuk.bsky.social shows we want to stay in the ECHR.

The public have seen the harm leaving European institutions has done to Britain and they recognise calls to leave the ECHR are just asking for even more damage to all our rights

Nearly half of the UK public support staying in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), almost twice the proportion who say the country should leave the treaty, new polling has suggested. A su...

The laws don't need to be changed. As you've said above they're working for the European citizens and member states.

Brexit was done to Europe. The UK chose it collectively. You need to stop asking us to carry the load of your choice.

Donald Trump is breaching the Constitution and breaking the law.

A show of force so he can militarize our cities because of the 2026 elections.

We need to stand up together and speak up.

There's comfort in knowing some things never change - like Dorries knowing less than zero about topics on which she has StRoNg ViEwZ.

None of Linehan or "Liz" Connolly's charges are even tangentially related to the Online Safety Act. Hadn't even come into force in Connolly's case. Embarrassing. ~AA

In order to avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein files Republicans went on break 2 weeks early hoping the story would go away. They’re back in DC now.

You know what they’re going to find out?

It didn’t go away.

🧵 Political commentators, analysing Trump, are constantly creating imaginary logic & rationale for what he does. They keep treating him as if they can avoid the fact that he is what used to be called a ‘sociopath’ & a narcissist. I mean this in scientific, not insult terms [1]

This administration will come after children of gay parents after they overturn same-sex marriage.

Those kids will inevitably end up in the foster system.

Trump has already significantly eroded LGBTQ+ employment rights, housing rights, and access to healthcare.

FVCK DONALD TRUMP!

Exactly what I'm talking about. Starmer should be hanging Farage out to dry, telling him the delays and checks are down to his Brexit.
Go after Farage. Let him defend Britons being exposed to EES and Etias.

surprised by Steve to be reposting this without the caveat that the UK is paying into EU Horizon like any other 3rd country.

The UK has not "recovered position".

Fun Fact: the UK tried but wasn't allowed back into EU ATOM the future of nuclear energy project.

The biggest tactical mistake that Labour made was whipping to vote for Brexit.

Now they are critically unable to attack Farage, tie him to Brexit, Putin, and Trump.

So the UK is a soft-pro-join country but doesn't associate Farage with Faragestein's Monster, aka Brexit.
That’s the £40b loss in tax revenue question

It then we are a country where if we had a GE next week Reform would win the largest number of seats, but if he held a referendum on Europe the same day Join would probably get the most votes

But you can’t grow a modern economy:

❌ With closed borders
❌ With crumbling infrastructure
❌ While pretending Brexit didn’t happen

She must face facts — or watch more capital, jobs, and power flow to the continent.

Jonty Bloom qualifies these moves by UKG as "common sense".

I agree. This is the UK acting as a more normal third country, swimming with the tide of the Brussels effect, rather than, out of Brexit pique, trying to oppose everything with "euro" in the name.
