Austria is showing the world what action looks like.

It took leaders just two weeks after a horrific school shooting to make steps to prevent tragedies and save lives.

How many more school shootings will it take for America to change our deadly status quo?

States that have enacted permit-to-purchase systems have seen a 40% reduction in the firearm homicide rate. This will save countless lives in Delaware.

President Trump previously pardoned participants of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Now, he has pardoned a militia member who was also convicted of illegally possessing firearms.

The Trump administration claims to be tough on crime, yet is letting people who commit crimes get away scot free.

A president who claims to care about law and order just erased a gun conviction for a January 6th insurrectionist. Twice.

This is how you normalize extremism and arm it. It’s dangerous and every American should be alarmed.

Coach John Beam changed lives far beyond football.

This isn’t just a sports story. It’s a story about gun violence invading safe spaces.

My heart is with Coach Beam’s family, students, and the entire Oakland community.

Take it from a combat veteran himself: a nationwide concealed carry mandate would be a deadly "nightmare" for civilians and law enforcement alike.

Congress could vote on this bill as soon as the shutdown ends.

Why a federal concealed carry gun bill must be stopped - The Boston Globe
The law would force all states to recognize concealed carry permissions from anywhere else in the country, and would be highly dangerous for civilians and law enforcement.

On Nov. 14, 2017, a shooter killed five people and wounded several others in the Northern California town of Rancho Tehama, including five children at the local elementary school.

Tragedies like this one are preventable. Our children and communities deserve better.

Exposing our nation's most vulnerable veterans to danger isn't a win for ANYONE.

This measure undermines background check requirements for vets who suffer from debilitating mental health disorders.

America has a veteran suicide crisis. Protecting at-risk vets means limiting access to lethal means.

Honoring our veterans includes committing to help keep them safe and working to address firearm suicide.

Every day, on average, 13 veterans die from a self-inflicted firearm injury. Checking in with loved ones and talking about secure gun storage could save a life.

Congress could make this deadly vision a reality through a nationwide concealed carry mandate. We must speak out.

Indiana is one of about two dozen states that has a "shoot first" or "stand your ground" law. It’s a license to kill that makes all of us less safe.
