Honoring our veterans includes committing to help keep them safe and working to address firearm suicide.

Every day, on average, 13 veterans die from a self-inflicted firearm injury. Checking in with loved ones and talking about secure gun storage could save a life.

The majority of gun deaths in the U.S. are suicides. We must do more to prevent such tragedies. Our thoughts are with Marshawn's family and friends.
We mourn the loss of Cowboys player Marshawn Kneeland, 24, from a self-inflicted gunshot.

About 74 people die of gun suicide each day in America — more than firearm murders and unintentional shootings combined.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988. @988lifeline.bsky.social

Yes, this verdict matters. But it is accountability demanded only because a woman who called for help was killed.

Sonya Massey’s family should never have been put through this.

Police violence is gun violence. And until we confront it, no one is safe.

No words. 😑
Great news: Extremists found someone to hold accountable for childhood harm.

Bad news: it’s not the gun industry that is killing our kids, it’s Tylenol.

While the gun industry celebrates their Congressional handout, PLCAA, gun violence is the #1 cause of death for American children.

6 people were wounded and 1 was killed at Lincoln University in PA, and a shooting near Howard University's campus wounded 5 people.

This is unacceptable. And preventable. The inaction of our leaders speaks volumes.
Schools shouldn’t be death zones.

A new WSU study shows teens ages 14-18 face unprecedented risk of death by firearm.

We are losing our children to a uniquely American epidemic and yet, too many leaders still look away.

Ten years ago, on Oct. 1, 2015, a shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon killed a professor and 8 students & wounded even more. The incident only took minutes, but its trauma will last a lifetime.

Students and teachers shouldn't have to hide under desks to stay alive. We deserve better.

Thanks to Brady supported legislation and litigation, ghost gun recoveries in Baltimore have declined nearly 40% since 2022.

But even more important, is the life-saving impact that the city has seen as a result: The number of youth shooting victims fell 55% during that same time period.
As ghost guns decrease in Baltimore, so does juvenile gun violence
A sharp drop in ghost guns, aided by increased regulations and legal settlements, has contributed to a significant decline in Baltimore’s teen shootings.
