"Most of the doctors spoke with ProPublica on the condition of anonymity, as they feared retaliation for violating ... a hospital 'gag order' against discussing abortion. In a sign of how secretive this decision-making has become, most said their hospitals had not written down these new policies."
The rate of sepsis in Houston surged 63% after Texas banned abortion.

In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where hospital leaders empowered doctors to intervene before patients’ conditions worsened, it rose 29%.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think we should be taking scientific advice from a demented pedophile who tried to redraw a hurricane chart with a sharpie.
Q: What do you tell Americans who are concerned that repealing the endangerment finding comes at a host to public health and the environment based on science?

TRUMP: I tell them don't worry about it. This was all a scam. They'll have more money to spend for healthcare.

we know this, but a reminder: anytime ICE CBP etc says they’re drawing down their presence in a city, it’s bullshit. whatever their numbers, lawless federal agents remain behind & still cause havoc & kidnap people. Also relocated agents just go somewhere else to destroy lives. Abolish ICE end DHS

Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.

And what awaits these clients in Texas? Unspeakably cruel and inhumane treatment.

1. Rotten food. I had a client explain she had to make a half-pint of milk and an apple last every day because the other meals consisted of spoiled or rotten food. One client wasn’t fed for >36 hours.

These are the conditions under which the Trump regime wants to detain noncitizens indefinitely. It violates international law, the Eighth Amendment, and our own laws & regulations.

And the DOJ and DHS are willing to manipulate any law, defy any court order, to keep doing so.
