I've had the same phone for 6.5 years. Aside from the volume button occasionally wiggling out, there's nothing wrong with it. So I'm gonna keep using it until it breaks. Because that's what I do with all utilitarian items: use them until they lose their utility. This isn't a complicated idea.

Her vocals defined King Kobra's imprint on the genre, she was a pioneer for trans women in metal, and her fans will never forget her.

I say this as someone who writes about Hollywood and entertainment for a living: People have got to stop thinking Hollywood is one monolithic mass. The creatives are a wholly different group than studio executives. The former group keeps making art despite the latter.

I've read more books in the past 3 weeks than in the past year before it.
Alternate between escaping to fiction and confronting the moment by reading non-fiction books by scholars and journalists. You can't just stop thinking about politics, so you might as well make the thoughts productive.
