The Small Hours is the darkest part of night, right before dawn.
It's also the title of my upcoming vampire novel.
It's funny, sexy, and very, very bloody.
A modern-day splatterpunk.
You cannot touch me, you would not dare
I am the chill that's in the air

GDT's FRANKENSTEIN was excellent. Not my favorite adaptation, but still a damn good take on the story, which is pretty cool considering its been in public domain for as long as there have been Frankenstein films.

I have such eclectic music tastes I've been bouncing between The Mars Volta, the new Coroner album, and Gary Clark Jr. lately. And damn, GC Jr.'s playing ... I love that fuzzbox blown out tube sound he gets. Fucking raw as hell.

I think this is probably my funnest & grossest novel. I wrote it while we were on set filming a movie & I was probably the happiest I'd ever been in my life & I think it shows in the text. a joyous celebration of body horror. you should read it sometime. maybe even review it? tell a friend? 🥹

This is not a very popular opinion since people seem bound and determined to make more of them, but honestly, we don't need yet another SCREAM movie. With the exception of one film this year, every other film I've enjoyed has been it's own thing or an adaptation.
But let's keep making mediocrity.
