I'm watching it tonight too. I don't care about any discourse about the adaptation. I want to experience it with only the knowledge that it seems to be quite polarizing, which means I'm DEFINITELY interested and will probably enjoy it.

What I mean by that is that Urban Wyrd pulls from so many directions and disciplines at once that in a story setting, you can have conflicting elements and as long as you keep it moving with compelling characters, why things happen doesn't really matter.
