(A book featuring shape shifting)
The Ruthless Lady's Guide to Wizardry by C.M. Waggoner. I wanted to like this more than I did. I liked the writing style, but it would have benefitted from being about 100 pages shorter.

Empress of Salt and Fortune
VERY impressive how much worldbuilding is in this tiny novella. I felt a bit lost in it at times, but the story is so compelling that I didn't overly mind.

The goal is to read one book by episode. There’s three possible prompts by episodes, inspired by quotes. The challenge is not timed so everyone can go at their own pace.

Mutiny is a-brewin': a book featuring a rebellion.
I chose Camp Damascus, a supernatural thriller, where queer folks harmed by conversion therapy fight demons and rebel against cultists masquerading as righteous Christians.

All of Us Murderers by KJ Charles for prompt #2.3 a second chance romance book. No spoilers, but I enjoyed how the MC’s were able to work on their second chance while trapped in the dark, gothic, murder-house. Why are gaslights so much creepier than candlelight?
