For prompt 2.2 in the #OFMDReadingChallenge (and keeping up with the green covers) I have Key Lime Sky by Al Hess. I enjoyed the originality of the plot and everything was resolved well. I adored Denver, the MC, but cannot say the same for all the lead characters.

Breeze Spells and Bridegrooms for "1.9 I'm folding stuff and that's okay"

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cozy, low stakes story with an incredibly sweet romance in a queer normative fantasy setting. It could have been shorter, but I still enjoyed it very much! Rep: pan, demi

Defiant for “2.5 You wear fine things well"

⭐⭐⭐⭐ It felt a little slower than the previous books, but I loved the whole series! Very easy to read, entertaining and action packed. All the alien species were so original and interesting! Can I get a pet slug now?

I started this one a few days ago but ended up DNFing it, I really wasn't into the characters and general vibes 😭

2.4 Maybe don't listen to a man who's becoming a bird
(A book featuring shape shifting)

The Ruthless Lady's Guide to Wizardry by C.M. Waggoner. I wanted to like this more than I did. I liked the writing style, but it would have benefitted from being about 100 pages shorter.

1.1 What we're about to do will be perilous (first book in a series)

Empress of Salt and Fortune

VERY impressive how much worldbuilding is in this tiny novella. I felt a bit lost in it at times, but the story is so compelling that I didn't overly mind.

Prompt 1.1
Mutiny is a-brewin': a book featuring a rebellion.
I chose Camp Damascus, a supernatural thriller, where queer folks harmed by conversion therapy fight demons and rebel against cultists masquerading as righteous Christians.
