This hits HARD.
I live between two worlds:
the one you see,
and the one I feel.
Some days, they collide—
crashing into each other like waves on stone.
On those days,
I tighten the mask,
cling to its brittle edges
and pretend
I am solid.

*sigh* I am once against asking people not to use alt text to add commentary or expand on posts that you can add extra skeets for

Alt text is a disability tool first, last and always

Please, please, please do not share a screenshot of text without making sure that the actual text is typed or pasted into the alt text WHEN YOU SHARE TEXT ABOUT DISABILITY RIGHTS!!!

You should always make sure the text is in the alt text, but definitely WHEN IT IS ABOUT DISABILITY RIGHTS!!!

Don’t assume this doesn’t affect you. Many of us fail to understand that we have disabilities, that our children do.

The rights of people with disabilities are your rights, workers rights, students rights.

Could not agree more.
Transgender is not a disability.

Bigotry is disabling.

Please treat game developers with respect.

You have no idea of what they are advocating for you on your behalf and by being toxic or negative and forcing them to make changes and playing armchair gamedev you are inevitably pushing your BIGGEST CHAMPIONS out of the room.

Known issues:
Social anxiety when not on camera, clumsiness, and generally a horrible sense of humor.
Also imagine if people had software updates:

'Version 5.2: Enhanced sarcasm, minor memory fixes (still losing keys), patience bug unresolved.'

Of the utmost importance. i will not work in an environment that is not inclusive and does not want to be inclusive.
72% of workers reported Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion being an important factor in terms of staying at their organisation - but budgets towards DE&I have been MASSIVELY cut in the last few years.

How important is diversity, equity, and inclusion to you?

Snowy days are beautiful until the ramp mobility aid users rely on to get into a building vanishes under a blanket of white. 🌨️

Accessibility can't take a snow day! If you own or run a business, make sure to keep sidewalks and ramps clear so everyone can navigate safely. ❄️♿️

This is soooo true! Just do it.
Disability comes for us all, if we are lucky enough to enjoy a long life.

So bump up that cursor size, increase text size, use dark mode, use whatever you can. Take advantage of the assistive tech if you need it. It's there for a reason: to make life easier.
One thing they don't tell you about getting older is just how often you lose your curser on your screen and can't find it for like ten seconds even when you frantically wiggle your mouse back and forth.

Nope. That's too many ports. I think the few that windows PCs come with now are perfect. If you have more things to connect, I think a hub should do it but too many ports looks, IMO, janky.
PCs should come with 3-4x as many USB ports as they do
