I wish we had power to refill Vacant Federal Positions. Admittedly agencies need revisions. But lack of $$ resources is key. Then personnel who see where the agencies r hurting & not serving the public ethically and effectively. Problem #1 GOP Funds Theft #2 Technology Ignorance #3 De-Regulation

Is there a DOGE equivalent going on in Canada? I wasn’t aware that Musk had Canadian citizenship.

We can deduce that he was alive, because he was heard asking an assistant, “Ho appena incontrato il volto del diavolo?” which roughly translates to, “Have I just encountered the face of the devil?” It’s a very common question that has been asked in many languages after encounters with JD Vance.

This is awful. DOGE terminated Public Allies Chicago AmeriCorps funding. I was an ally some years ago. So many people in leadership in Chicago were at one point a Public Ally. This cuts off a program for young people looking to start their careers in nonprofits and other forms of public service.

Lots of uncertainty in today's severe weather forecast. In related news, DOGE has suspended and cut weather balloon launches southwest of MN, giving meteorologists and weather models less data to go off of. Less certainty and less accuracy in forecasts should be expected unless funding is restored.
