Fuck your favourite song. Tell me your least favourite song. The one that makes you die inside the moment you hear the first 3 seconds.

If you're not riding the OS train yet, this is the station to get aboard!! (I'm also super honored and super inspired to do their episode art on a regular basis now)
Our new episode is now out for all listeners! Sarah introduces Helen to Joseph Swetnam, the man the word "misogyny" was coined to describe, who turns out to have gotten his ass handed to him on four separate occasions by the authors of Elizabethan England.

You should check out Sarah's podcast recs if this type of media is your jam, but you should start with Odium Symposium first
if you are interested in learning about right wing media in a way that doesn't amount to deliberately cooking your own brain, here are five podcasts i actively listen to and really like on the topic. i will plug my own as number six. in no particular order:
these people seem like idiots

Musically, I think I can actually write some really good lyrics
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.

I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at.

No self deprecation, just what you think you're the strongest at

Is anyone brave eniough? 👀

Parallel prong on this misogynist fork: some people who consider themselves on the left side of things will use their scorn for the "white woman" as a way to wrap misogynist pills in the cheese of aesthetically woke racial politics
I think we need to understand the extent to which this use of "liberal white women" is a way of saying "race traitor." They aren't attacking these women for being white but for having a lack of loyalty to whiteness.
Fox News' Will Cain: “There's a weird kind of smugness... in the way that some of these liberal white women interact with authority”

I'm kind of the coolest girl at work, and I might even be the hottest. And I think it's okay for me to act like that sometimes. Confidence is a very professional trait, you know? Like, "girlbossing?"

Me: I am also the eepiest girl in our department

Going "yoohoo boys" mode is dangerous. It's hard to stop once you start. I'm unironically using "toodle-oo" to say bye to my coworkers now
