And cats, of course.

Well, Women's History Month is over for 2025, but I've decided to keep posting art because it can be a powerful weapon against injustice as well as a balm for a troubled heart - both of which seem necessary now.

During my freshman year of college, when I worked at the college art gallery, we marked World AIDS Day as a "Day Without Art" by covering a painting with a sheet. So many artists were lost to AIDS.
The U.S. government’s failure to acknowledge World AIDS Day takes us back to a troubling time. The federal government had recognized this awareness day every year since its inception in 1988. www.statnews.com/2025/11/29/w...

Perhaps AIDS activists’ famous slogan, “Silence = Death,” needs an update for this troubling moment.

Stop saying, "They'll never impeach him." Low expectations grant them permission to continue to do nothing. (Which is a relief to them.)

Demand integrity. Expect better of them. Require them to do their jobs and honor the oaths they swore.

Stop giving them permission.

THEY. ARE. LISTENING.

Recently i reached out to a friend in tears. It wasnt because of anything awful happening in MY personal life with my friends or family. It was because i was feeling overwhelmed.

7 million Americans protested against Trump’s tyranny on a single day last month. Just thought I’d remind folks since major media seem to think it’s a one-day story and a photo gallery instead of overwhelming evidence that there’s growing mass resistance to the regime.

US Marine Staff Sergeant’s wife was grabbed by ICE at her green card interview

The same thing happened to the wife of a Navy vet

They served their country, brought their spouses over legally and were going through the process

Instead they watched the loves of their life be taken away in handcuffs

Violence isn’t ok - physical and also bureaucratic violence.

Afghans who risked their lives for U.S. forces now face family separation under this new refugee “review.”
Unjust, unacceptable, unpatriotic.

I'm thankful for heroes like John Platt.
This 74-year-old man possesses more courage, integrity, humanity, and patriotism than anyone who supports Trump.

A 74 year old Chicago resident named John Platt who has been protesting here for the past 2 months was not having it.

This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

I've seen people say that getting attached to ChatGPT is like "believing the stripper really loves you", but that's not true. It's more like believing that the dryer personally composed that little jingle on a lonely sockless night just to win your affections.

Supporting boys AND girls is anathema to the Secretary.
"...memo to the House and Senate Armed Services committees argues the Scouts have strayed from their mission to 'cultivate masculine values.'"
Hegseth is such a vapid, pathetic excuse for a "man."
U.S. ready to cut support to Scouts, accusing them of attacking 'boy-friendly spaces'
Documents show the U.S. military is planning to sever all ties with the organization formerly known as the Boy Scouts.
