It’s not enough to be not; be anti-. Anti-fascist. Anti-racist. Anti-sexist. Anti-bigot. Anti-capitalist. #CapitalismPoisonsEverything

Expect a whole sort of general mishmash of my interests & passions, w/ a lot of #Splatoon3 stuff.

When cruelty is the point, as it so very clearly is with these fascists, every act of kindness is an act of resistance.

Be kind, look out for each other, and stomp your boots on the faces of fascism.
Looks like the choads who complained about Aloy not being up to their “my anime waifu” standards and made an AI mockup of her with smoother features & make up are getting their dream game.

And I bet they never play it.

While I won’t be surprised if it’s not, I really would like for this to be a free upgrade for those of us who already own RDR for the Switch.

Though if they follow Nintendo’s lead, it’ll probably be a few dollars to upgrade.

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Today's #Nudivember is a swimming Melibe. I haven't seen this species swim, but I have seen our local ones and they're extremely silly swimmers. They swim exactly how you'd expect a slug would swim, flailing about in a way that could never be described as graceful.

Bottom line
The reality is that your judgment has to be rooted in your values. That's what's going to determine what you reward and what you punish. And if you're not clear on your values, then they will emerge clearly through your actual actions. In short, Link is banned, Jesse Singal is not. So now we know.

While I have no doubt this is just more “do as I say, not as I do” BS, part of me wishes to believe that the reason these people are all such miserable assholes is because they’ve never had relief from a headache or sore muscles or a fever or etc.

And I hope they continue to suffer.

the biggest lesson from the emails today is that powerful people are so unafraid of consequences for crimes as bad as “raping children” that they will just talk about it openly in emails

the only path to a better society is one where that is no longer true

It's the concentration of power that allows these people to all be pedophiles together. Destroy that power and they can't fucking do it. Your choices are to live as the subjects of a pedophile elite or live as free people with no state, no class, and no rulers

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

Look if you don't want a ruling class made of pedophiles the easiest way to do it is to make sure you don't have a ruling class! It's just that simple!

So, I seem to have a #spider of some sort living in the front fork of my #bicycle. I’m worried about it. Not because of any fear on my part, but because I think I may have picked this hitchhiker up as far back as Yosemite & I’m now in the Mojave near Vegas. It may die of dehydration. 😢

i keep thinking back to the peak-pandemic mass eviction dems forced when they held a trifecta. there was popular consensus that it was cruelty in service of donors & member wealth over the public welfare.

Heck, Nintendo came out against generative AI, saying they weren’t going in that direction. Which means they’ll still get my money.

It doesn’t matter how much they try to normalize it, if I find a studio is using generative AI, they become dead to me. I won’t buy their games. End of.
We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

Get outta here with this normalization bullshit.

This was the first viral video I saw on the internet, well before the days of YouTube & social media. My friend told me about it (IN PERSON! 😲) & we searched for it on Altavista to find an FTP link to a low res grainy MPEG of one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen!😂

55 years ago today was an infamous attempt to blow up a beached whale.
