Don’t just take my word for it. Maybe Jeff can effectively make the case.
Some new music recommendations, including recent releases from @billjanovitz.bsky.social, David Forman (many thanks to @joehagantv.bsky.social for helping facilitate this delightful surprise), and Tehom, a.k.a. @billchilds.bsky.social's youngest: www.jefitoblog.com/song-recomme...

I really didn’t think I’d be writing political songs in my 60th year on this earth. But there you go.

New music. Commiserating is the third EP in about a month and a half. This will probably be the last stuff I release for a while, though who knows when inspiration will strike.

Huge scandal that Minneapolis has been crawling with terrorists this whole time. They've been living among us undercover as poets and nurses. And would've continued to, had it not been for the work of our bravest child kidnappers

Clearly a domestic terrorist. Taking down the mastermind.
ICE was so scared of one elderly man that its agents couldn't muster the human decency to let him get dressed before they dragged him from his home.

This cruelty won't cow Americans, it'll just make us angrier. ICE sows the seeds of its own destruction with every one of these abuses. ABOLISH ICE.
ICE kidnapped an elderly Hmong man in St. Paul, Minnesota. The temperature was sub-zero, and he was taken only wearing shorts and Crocs, and no shirt. (1/18/26)

New song at Bandcamp, not yet on streaming. I was working on this the week before Renee Good was murdered. I changed the lyrics in the first two verses. Link in bio. Proceeds will be donated to the ACLU. I took the photo at a peaceful weekly protest that takes place outside an ICE facility here.

“Don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy” is solid advice. Happy New Year to you. It’s all gonna get better (it [surely] can’t get no worse).

The biggest divide in America today is not between “right” and “left,” or between Republicans and Democrats.

It’s between democracy and oligarchy.

The old labels — “right” and “left” — prevent most people from noticing they’re getting the shaft.

Know the truth.

We used to call the debut LP "Cars greatest hits." Somehow the 2nd LP, "Candy O," topped it, at least in my world. Can a band that sold 43 million albums still be underappreciated? Buffalo Tom's Bill Janovitz, the band's biographer, makes the case on @soundopinions.bsky.social: shorturl.at/hvsrQ
