Honestly I'm cool with most people using my art so long as it isn't for commercial or campaign use, to be fed to someone's AI system, or for hate speech. Just credit me if you do.

sure sex is great but have you ever supported your artist friends during the holidays by buying their lovely work?

I think I confused my estranged Trump loving father with asking how his retirement was going after not talking to each other in almost 6 years. I still feel angry towards him for how he treated me when I was outed as trans in 2019 by someone I knew.

I have no clue what's going on with so many on the platform is talking about when it comes to the moderation team. Frankly been avoiding Bluesky lately over the shit going on in the US since it's making me anxious for family and friends still living there.

Spent two hours salting my painting to then cover it in another layer of watercolor. Atleast now the texture of the sky looks more closer to what I want.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

Got some hearing aid ad describe itself as "the Tesla of hearing aids", and yup, no thanks. It's too surreal for me for some reason

I find it hilarious trying to fix one thing on an old photo of a sculpture I made years ago and the clean up brush keeps trying to pixelate the phallic like sculpture

"You are seen and you are loved" without the promise of safety or protection is a meaningless, hollow gesture.

We need people to embody "You will be safe, and you will be protected." We need people to actually do something and stand up for trans rights.

When all we want is to be able to exist.

I'm tired of constantly feeling like I'm living out of a suitcase and never getting to feel like I'm in a more permanent home. The homophobia/transphobia I've dealt with these past few years is draining and I don't want to move yet again for my safety. I want to feel like I belong here in Alberta

This is a direct assault on human rights and an attack on 2SLGBTQI+ communities.

The govt knows their legislation is discriminatory and unconstitutional, which will be struck down in court.

Albertans should strongly object. Who will be targeted next?

Going through old photos I've taken and thought a few of these fit the mood for 2025.

The last year or so I've been photographing a lot of the "free Palestine" stickers and posters around where I live in their different states (not sure what gotten me originally to start photographing them). This one is a more recent one that was heavily damaged.

You can go way too far with anger towards elites and experts, believe me, I know. However, the punditry class doesn't get to tell the rest of us that a couple basic English sentences mean something different from what we know they mean.

I haven't posted much of the art I've been working on in the last few weeks. I currently working on a few paintings and editing a bunch of photos. I will eventually get around to posting them once things set down.

"but art should be accessible" it is, you can learn to draw, paint, collage, sculpt, make pixels. right now, starting today. art has never been more accessible monetarily nor physically than it is now in this age. access to artist labor and machine production is not an accessibility issue.

The first large-scale Nazi book burning was on 6 May 1933, when Magnus Hirschfeld's Institut für Sexualwissenschaft in Berlin was attacked by Nazi students. It would take decades for science to recover the knowledge about trans-affirming healthcare that was destroyed that day.

I usually make quick bunch of scribbles in a sketchbook and start adding lines to them until I start to see characters and landscapes from them.
