Absolutely farcical that San Francisco plans to build *any* new housing there, let alone a significant portion of its projected growth. A literal radioactive island
there are 20 people waiting for the 25 to treasure island because this bus doesn't run often enough for effectively being the only option to get to the island where most of the cities new affordable housing is being build and where a significant portion of the population dont own cars

Last week I participated in a town wide evacuation drill in Stinson Beach. I walked down the hill with my go bag. I was told twice that I should have brought my car, and that if I get stuck in a traffic jam, I should just sit there in my car. I beat the entire line of traffic to the staging area.
It's also pretty astonishing to see LA city leaders suddenly concerned about ingress and egress in these fire-prone neighborhoods when they haven't even published their updated evacuation routes.
