In tight spaces or heavy traffic, it’s not always easy to see who’s near. Active Side Collision Avoidance Support uses radar to detect cyclists or pedestrians on the sides. If someone’s there, it warns you or even steps in to brake if needed so you can keep others safe, even when visibility is low.

MAGA keeps saying:

"You liberals are going to be so mad when you see all the Democrats in the Epstein files!!!"

No we won't. Because we're not in a cult.

Pedos belong in prison. I don't care who they are. #ReleaseTheFiles

Oregon Sen Bruce Starr, Rep Ed Diehl, and Taxpayers Association of Oregon founder Jason Williams have officially filed a petition against the state transportation package, which Governor Tina Kotek signed into law today.

ICE grabs father by the neck—send him into violent seizure while his arms lock up around his toddler.

"He's having seizure and they're trying to rip the baby out of his hands!"

Agents then handcuff him—before putting in ambulance with his child.

Mother is detained by agents as target of arrest.

i don't think people talk enough about how "Stranger Things" legitimizes the use of bicycles as a fun, social, mode of transportation.

granted, it's kids riding the bikes, but it's kids riding bikes to go do badass shit to save the planet.

funny how people fault pedestrians for "darting" into intersections, but never the driver of a vehicle going significantly faster

Here's a photo of my friend and colleague, Jorge Bautista, getting shot in the face with a flashbang grenade. The ICE Agent is so afraid of Jorge (who was posing no threat) that he has wet himself. Please share this photo. Everyone needs to know what cowards ICE agents are.

I don’t necessarily agree that windowless bedrooms are a problem, but if they’re going to banned in the IBC that needs to be coupled with reforms that address the reasons they exist.

Take, for example the Elizabeth Lofts in Portland’s Pearl District. 1/3

i feel like the whole capacity thing on 82nd ave could have just been solved with better transfers between existing bus lines and the MAX green line.

the green line wasn't designed with transfers in mind- bus stops are sometimes 10 minutes walking away. it's often quicker to transfer to the 72.

just got home from a public meeting that was split on a vote between

a. no bike lane protection
b. concrete traffic seperator protection
and
c. shared use path

I can't stress enough how good it felt to hear the discussion was between the *types* of protection, not if it should be there.

Obama sharing a video of himself wearing a crown and flying a King Obama jet that dumped shit all over Americans would have been the only thing the news networks talked about for weeks.

Meanwhile, Trump doing that very thing couldn't even warrant a discussion on the Sunday shows today.

Yesterday's No Kings protests were apparently the largest since the first Earth Day in 1970

The NYT covered that story with a six column headline across the top of the paper and two full pages inside

Today, two small pics below the fold and a story on page A23

They constantly let America down

really frustrating that these 5 options for going south of Portland on transit are effectively two given the times of departure

like why do we have nothing until 11am, 3 southbound trips from 11am-noon, and then another few clustered around 6pm?

nothing between 2 and 5, and 6-930.

interesting report from IFS with @bobbyfijan.bsky.social on the lack of family sized homes in US apartments due in part to financing regiments leading to market failures and overproduction of studios and 1BR homes.

also note the plug for single stair buildings.

The fact the governor of Illinois is beging for citizen coverage because media as a whole is intentionally not covering the governments terror campaign should be absolutely a five alarm fire if you are not already figuring out the federal government is at war against us.
People of Illinois, we need your help.

Get your cell phones out – record what you see. Put it on social media. Peacefully ask for badge numbers and identification. Speak up for your neighbors.

We need to let the world know this is happening – and that we won’t stand for it.
