I hear all these people complaining that their congress person won’t listen or won’t care if they complain.
As a parent, I can’t tell what’s wrong with my kid unless they speak up.

My daughter’s home for the holiday weekend and just told me that every one of her professors this semester is a woman. On top of that, they all have PhDs.
She said it with the biggest smile. And honestly, so did I.
