Today was a TV day:
* Eps 5-6 of Heated Rivalry rewatch
* Eps 1-4 of Bridgerton
* Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

Because I needed to watch some Kaiju battling it out.

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Good morning, NAME OF COMPANY, how may I direct your call?"

(in email)

"You have received a package from X via Y. It will be in the Copy/Print room. Thank you."
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"I could order it for you!"

I just signed an executive order instructing @boston.gov departments to take a range of actions to protect our residents and make clear that we will hold anyone accountable who commits violence, property damage, or any criminal conduct in the City of Boston—including federal officials.

Hey funny story!

Remember how for like 20 years we said if you tell people to only study STEM that job market would tank & also no one would be able to think critically about rhetoric or ethics, know what happened at any point in history or value much but money?

Man, I love that one. Cracks me up.

We finally got one of the bookshelves (purchased in November) put together! This is the smaller one, and it definitely is large enough for me to put a good many books in it! Which is great, because my current shelves are overflowing!

Hello Readers! For a host of (mostly logistical) reasons, both locations are open today, so here's a thread of what we're doing:

First, both stores will have posters & signs directing people to donate to LUCE. (Which, you can do right now!) Speaking of raising money for LUCE...

So the garbage dumpster is partially plowed in and definitely NOT shoveled out. I went in snow up to my knees to get close enough to throw in the bag. Goodness knows when the next pickup will be!
