given the very real history of racist attacks on Black Democrats - including within Democratic primaries - it is a particular kind of fucked up for Jasmine Crockett (and Allred!) to be using unsubstantiated allegations of racism from their Democratic opponents as a hail mary.

Gonzales had an affair with someone who later b*rned themselves alive. If he loses the primary to Herrera here TX-23 could be Lean R/competitive (it has a HUGE latino population and Trump won it by 15 in 2024.)

So whos gonna buy warner bros? Paramount could get it based off Trumps backing but Netflix seems much more savvier (insane to be rooting for them but this is what we’re in now.)

There are ~80M non white citizens of voting age. Say they voted at 50% (a slight underestimate). Say they voted 25% in person (underestimate probably). With what resources is ICE going to arrest and detain *ten million people* so they can’t vote?
One of my biggest fears about the midterms is that ICE could flood the polls with agents who perform Kavanaugh Stops on every non-white person before they get a chance to cast a ballot, then detain them until voting is over. Which is not far-fetched at this point. www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-po...

No my goat is falling for paranoid doomer BS. Any ice raid on polling places in a black or brown area would spark huge backlash

Plus theres a 100k polling places

Dems should unironically run on fighting the deficit. This is ridiculous
The United States' national debt is set to balloon to $64 trillion over the next 10 years, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said on Wednesday, citing a jump in annual deficits that owes in part to tax cuts enacted by President Trump. | ABC

In the KY 2023 gov race, Republican Cameron spent nearly his entire campaign attacking Beshear on trans issues.

Beshear said he respects them as Gods children and proceeded to win by *5 points* in KY (28 point overperformance from Trump’20)
Lakshya Jain and the Argument fled this website because they couldn't take the criticism and now he's advocating for Dems to abandon trans issues with polling about 'gender surgery for minors' a thing that is not real

New YouGov poll has abolish ICE at +5 net support (46-41). That includes *20%* of Trump ‘24 voters, 56% of Hispanics, and 40-43 among non college voters

Dems need to get with the program and push for it

late night movie posting: just rewatched whiplash and it’s even worse than I remembered 10 years ago. The whole movie is shot like an episode of The Bear but at least with the Bear you can tell the creators love food while after watching this I’m not sure that chazelle actually likes music

🚨Looks like Jeffries will pressure Washington, Colorado, and Pennsylvania to redraw in 2028! This would greatly improve Dem chances in the House.

The SAVE Act and Trump’s weird EO threat today aren’t serious, they’re creating ways for Trump to save face after the GOP gets their asses kicked this year. It’s not that they lost because their policies are unpopular, the other guys stole it. It’s like blaming lag for being bad at video games.
