The SAVE Act and Trump’s weird EO threat today aren’t serious, they’re creating ways for Trump to save face after the GOP gets their asses kicked this year. It’s not that they lost because their policies are unpopular, the other guys stole it. It’s like blaming lag for being bad at video games.

This is the biggest problem. In 2012 Obama tried to make Mitt Romney super far-right with his healthcare plan ending Medicare, yet most voters didn’t believe it
a perennial issue is that people just refuse to believe that the republican party is as far gone as it is.
