In 2012, I spent 4hrs in US ER 2 weeks before I got insurance at work. Minimal tests & IV. Total $10k.
In 2017, I spent 4hrs in UK A&E. Had crutches, x-rays, MRI, knee braces, 8 months of physio, knee surgery, specialist physio, ortho & GP appts, etc. Total £0.
It doesn't have to be that way, US.😔
