No, that definitely did not happen. All the buildings at Fordoz seem fine. There's some craters in the ground between some hills where bunkers may have been underneath.

Ok, so the Carlson, Cruz interview has some definite gems. It doesn't make Tucker any better as a journalist. He's just doing his job, representing the Kremlin's stance even if, in this case, it's also a reasonable one. Still, there's symbolism to Trump going off the Kremlin playbook here, exciting!

Agreements with Russia don't mean much.
Israel has launched a first strike attack against Iran and all of their nuclear facilities. Iran is one of Russia's most important allies and the two nations have mutual defense agreements that should mean Russia would come to Iran's defense, but Russia realistically can't do anything to save Iran.

Because it's an oil exporter and fears forcing undercut prices.
The US is not backing down from its negative stance on lowering the price ceiling for Russian oil, which has dampened Europe's hopes that leaders gathering for the G7 summit in Canada will agree on this.

Trump doing the splits and appeasing Putin while encouraging attacking Iran is very darkly entertaining. I guess the US can't stop Israel from escalating, so they're doing everything to try to keep Russia from somehow going overboard - massively overestimating what Russia is actually capable of.
