I've gotten reports of at least five other instances in the past few months of [most likely] CBP (possibly another agency bc they didn't identify themselves) stopping passengers on the jetway to board and requiring a photo—taken with a small camera or smartphone—with no explanation.

New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.

My grandfather survived Juno Beach to swing around and rescue the American troops at Normandy on D-Day instead of sitting on the objective his unit helped take.
