So many responses to Seattle's DVOA this year have been like this. "Seattle isn't really that good, so DVOA must be garbage."
Have you considered that maybe Seattle IS that good and our memories of classic teams are not as accurate as we think? (1/x)

Which tells us how flawed that metric is. Seattle is good, but teams with legit offensive lines would be able to score on them. 90s Was, Nyg, Dallas for example.

Last time we won I wasn't paying that much attention but over the years I started paying more attention after me and my best friend started watching the games together. He has since left us but I was able to witness the win with his brother. Sports at its best brings us together. SEAAAA HAWWWKS.

I'm in favor of the model and I kinda like the proposed divisions. The Texas and southern California teams being divisional rivals feels fun.
