The past week, the news cycle + social media has destroyed my mental health. I don't upset easily, but between AI knocking at the door and the right-wing media buyout, being online for just minutes puts me in a dark place. I am watching tidal waves grow larger. No one is running; I can't stop it.

i live that poverty life and have been food insecure before. i've walked into a store with 14 dollars to buy 2 weeks' worth of groceries. i'm doing better now, but with tariffs looming, i'm sorely tempted to stockpile some canned goods. "we're not going back" hits rough with this one.
