I’m sick with something. I don’t know what. But my dog has been trying to guide me back to bed all day. I don’t know who taught him that cus it wasn’t me and I’ve had him since he was a puppy.
It’s breaking my heart, seeing him be so gentle. (He’s normally so hyper.)

Autistic adults experience complex emotions, a revelation that could shape better therapy strategies for neurodivergent people, says Rutgers researcher What does giddiness or joy or anger teel like? To a group of autistic adults participating in a Rutgers study, giddiness manifests like "bees"; small moments of joy are like "a nice coffee in the morning" that yields "a sense of elevation"; anger starts with a "body-tensing" boil, then headaches. Contrary to common perceptions and years of research that autistic people can't describe their emotions or often have muted emotional responses, a Rutgers study published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy concludes that many autistic adults are in fact acutely aware of their feelings and can label them in vivid, often colorful detail.

imo target being pro or not pro queer was never symbolic of target loving or accepting us (target is a soulless corporate entity, it cannot love or accept), it was just a weathervane, and it's okay to be happy when the vane implies fair weather, and anxious when it doesn't

If you didn't get that, you didn't get Black Panther. • Captain America literally fought the Nazis. He is the embodiment of fighting the alt-right. If you didn't get that, you didn't get Captain America. • The Empire in Star Wars is fascist. The Rebel alliance is Anti-Fascist. If you didn't get that, you didn't get Star Wars. • The Punisher isn't meant to be a role model for police or armed forces. So much so that the writers of The Punisher made him actively speak out against it in a comic. If you didn't get that, you didn't get The Punisher. • Deadpool is queer. He's pansexual. Fact. If you didn't get that you didn't get Deadpool. • Star Trek is about equality for all genders, races, and sexualities. As early as the mid-60s it was taking a pro-choice stance and defending women's right to choose. One of its clearest themes is accepting different cultures and appearances
