Another thing: I’m sure this has happened to many of us, but I assume people don’t like to talk about it because it feels vulnerable and weirdly embarrassing when you’re trying to make it as a public figure/writer/whatever!
I’ve had an IG platform since 2018, building up to 250k followers at peak and hovering now around 210k. That sounds like a huge reach, right? Well, it’s not. People who OPTED IN to see my abortion affirming content don’t see it. Less than 1%. I don’t care about growth, show my followers my stuff!!!

It's so important to understand that fake clinics (crisis pregnancy centers) are NOT regulated by HIPAA. They can and do share your private information - health and otherwise.

Texas Tech canceled a planned lecture by Dr. Shelley Sella on abortion care later in pregnancy and I am *so mad* about it, y’all. Dr. Sella is the first woman to openly practice third trimester abortion care in the US. Her teaching is a gift, and students deserve to learn.
