I suspect many people will be put off by the more fantastical aspects of this one…but I was enthralled the whole way. A decades spanning tale that’s a mix of death note, the x files, and Arthurian legend. A consistently surprising book that, despite being 900pages, I devoured. King fans will enjoy.

I hate that the Trump era had made even us rational folks into talking and sounding like conspiracy theorists. “The government is run by pedophiles” should be the subject of a vhs your weird roommate gets sent from his uncle, not actual real life. We all sound mad just for believing true things

I’ve been having a pretty great time with Arc Raiders. It’s not perfect and kinda feels early access in terms of systems and progression, but the core is solid. The AI voices thing is just such an unnecessary self own, there’s almost no voices and the ones in there are bad canned lines
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Predator Badlands was badass. Just a fun time at the movies. I guess I sorta understand the “it’s for kids” (I took my 7 year old) but the movie has more decapitations than any movie in history I’m guessing. It’s still pretty hardcore for what it is. So many creative fight scenes. Loved it
