Legal citizenship should be virtually effortless to obtain and near instantaneous to process, and should be paired with sweeping grants of asylum.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

today, a federal judge ordered the release of 615 people wrongfully abducted by ICE / CBP from june to october (yay!). as if they haven't already been through enough trauma and violence, they each still have to pay a $1500 bond (aka ransom & extortion) (boo!).

donate here twd the $900K+ in bond:

You're not a hero if you are refusing to feed hungry people. You're not practicing good business by trying to wring profits out of a public service. You're not a defender of free speech if you punish schools for teaching histories that make our country "look bad".

I'll get back to "party unity" as soon as the Senate Minority Leader tells us if he voted for the Democratic party nominee for mayor of his city.

I'm tired of party unity only ever running one way.

What if the Columbus City Council election was a ward system instead where only District 7 residents voted for the District 7 race?

Vogel 62% (10,829 votes)
Ross 38% (6,592 votes)

Vogel won 60 of the 79 precincts in District 7 (76%)

Imagine being a Democratic leader who refused to endorse Mamdani, who has advocated for throwing trans people and immigrants under the bus, and who has otherwise acted like it's still 1996, and then just walking in to work today like your entire world view didn't get obliterated last night.

This morning Ohio Senators are in committee deciding on a bill that would throw away valid votes from eligible voters that were mailed on time because of mail delays outside of a voter's control. That's not right.
Urge your state senator to vote "No", here:

The Ohio House will soon vote on a Republican-backed bill that would allow counties, cities and other local governments to block library levies from the ballot. But libraries said voters deserve the right to make the decision on those money issues.

Bill would let Ohio taxing authorities keep library levies off ballots
Republicans say allowing local taxing authorities in Ohio to block library levies would increase transparency, but libraries say it will hurt them and voters.
