I truly believe that there are a lot of talented, creative and hard working people working on Destiny but the roadmap outlining their plan for the future for the run up to renegades will at minimum come out a month after it ships really shows that there was never really a plan for the future

As a nonbinary person, I also dislike partnerships like this, bc they turn us into "woman-lite." They aren't typically welcoming of more masc or AMAB folks. And I don't want to be jammed into a woman's group! Just hire trans women!

what I hate about "video games are actually too cheap you treat-obsessed slobs" is that it puts the onus of wasteful corporate spending, obscene project bloat and mismanagement, and absurd profit demands on players rather than on the executives driving the boat.

I think there's a pretty good argument to make that, for example, indie games could probably stand to charge more than the $15, $20 they typically charge. But to say AAA games should be $100+ to accommodate bigger budgets and you're a spoiled brat if you find that to be too expensive, that's weird.

I see we are doing the "what should games cost" dance again and honestly I don't think any point people can make matters when we have pretty solid evidence that a game costing 70$ makes it sell worse at launch.
