A solid majority (~59%) of Americans are a single missed paycheck away from homelessness. This is going to jump up quite a bit, under this bill being pushed through Congress. Homelessness will rise, medical bankruptcies will skyrocket, crime will follow, and costs will soar. These are certainties.

Last year Microsoft made $88 billion (that's billion, with a B) in profit on $245B in revenue. That's a 36% profit margin. The idea that they have to put 9000 people out of work in order to improve profitability is absolutely ghoulish. This is not a struggling company, they're swimming in profit.
