Please don't try to silver lining our illegal attack on Venezuela. Please, just don't. Maduro is an unelected dictator, sure. But if you think Donald Trump is about restoring democracy for a country full of brown people, you should really just keep that to yourself.

We have our monthly national all staff call on Monday, and I was making my way through the PowerPoint slides when I realized I could put a credential after my name on the office contacts slide, finally. I was the only person in my office without an advanced degree, so that was a neat feeling.

As near as I can tell, this man was briefly “on the faculty” of a small college devoted to business education but he has big ideas for revamping the entire university system.
This article advocates for the “Faculty Merit Act” that would — get this — require all faculty applicants to submit their *SAT* scores. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Holy shirts that’s hilarious.

Update: I kicked them to the curb through a loan refinance with one of my long-time banks. I'm fortunate to be in a position where I can do this. I suspect Bank of America is counting on most people being trapped. We need stronger banking regulation and a return of the CFPB to its intended purpose.
Love that Bank of America does everything they can to discourage principal-only loan payments so they can charge the maximum interest possible. It's refreshing when big corporations are as unsophisticated in their fuckery as payday loan predators.

We got a shoutout from the Secretary of the VA, today. We housed 52,000 Veteran families in FY 2025. This was the best year VA homeless programs has had since FY 2017, but I think we can do better.
