Again, all polls show that abolishing ICE is an incredibly popular position, completely in the mainstream center of American politics. "Centerism" has nothing to do with what's in the center, but is instead an absolute and radical stance against the idea of change
ICE may be shooting people in the face, sending people to concentration camps, and illegally occupying our cities but, apparently, the Democrats think saying, "abolish ICE" is "emotional" and politically "lethal."

This is not the first US imperial atrocity for oil —let’s not exceptionalize it— but wow is is it awful. And the violation of Venezuelans domestically in the name of a sovereign borders they actually dgaf about.

As Aimee Cesaire put it— the price of imperialism is the empire’s own civilization.

This 'crusadercore' aesthetic and its fascist connections has been in my radar for a long time through its connection to the @crusaderkings.com fan-base.

But what I found striking reading this and looking at their examples is how seamlessly the ideology shifts between multiple-choice bigotries.
Far-right groups are co-opting the aesthetics of the Crusades for their own objectives, transforming an obsession with feudal justice into a campaign for a White Christian nation.
Why We Should All Be Worried About "Crusadercore"
This online trend equips young, White men with a historically bastardized visual lexicon — one that gives new credence and religious authority to far-right bigotry.
