Pleased to see the jury make this decision.

We need to have eyes wide open this is exactly why the Government wants to abolish juries.

People protesting against a genocide are not the criminals here - it's the politicians who continue to provide cover.

We are seeking it to be removed from George Mitchell and Bill Clinton given what is now known about their behaviour towards women.

If you are a young person in school or you know such a person, please ask them to complete this (very short!) survey.

We have good numbers but the more we get the easier to present a solid case to decision makers on why this approach to accessing bathrooms needs to be changed!
Do you go to school in NI? Have you ever been told you can't use the bathroom at school when you needed to?

We want to hear about your experience with bathroom access at school. Take a few minutes to fill out the survey.

The survey closes Friday 13 February at 5pm! buff.ly/wU99ZFp

Is it time to devolve transport and infrastructure powers to councils to actually get stuff done? Or as Cllr Brian Smyth eloquently put it “It’s time to put on our big boy and big girl pants and fix obvious problems Sinn Féin and DUP are blocking.

What do think?

The idea of ‘earned settlement’ is racist and classist. 📣 So, why are we calling on allies to complete the Government’s ‘Earned Settlement’ consultation?

My Freedom of Information request on the failed Hill Street pedestrianisation scheme sums up at a small level, the wider failure of this useless Stormont Executive.

Devolve transport and physical regeneration powers to council. Sinn Fein and the DUP have no interest in making this place work.

Last night, Cllr Kendall & I opposed an above-inflation rates rise in Ards & North Down.

A majority of councillors are in parties that failed to lift the rates cap, that shields the wealthiest while ordinary households are asked to pay more.

That’s a political choice and we voted against it.

Swift nesting bricks have passed the Scottish Parliament and will now become law.

Swifts are in serious decline across the UK. This will help reverse that trend and make our communities more liveable for birds.

As a local Councillor, if I did something as reckless as Gordon Lyons I would be held accountable by the local government commissioner for standards, and likely suspended or disqualified from my public role.

A Stormont minister though?.. absolutely nothing.

The Ravenhill Road cycle lane consultation is a real opportunity to create safer, cleaner streets. Young people’s voices must be central to this. I’ve asked the DfI to consult with local schools.

Let's build a cleaner Belfast.
