I feel like believing in an afterlife makes folks more flippant about their lives. Who cares if you die—or anyone else for that matter—because death isn't actually the end. But what if that's not true? What if death IS the end and that's it? Will we then care more about ourselves and each other?

the term "content creator" served it's purpose very well. conditioning people into seeing everyone as anyone and everything as anything, mostly among the ruling class who found it most convenient for their pockets. in that sense, generating slop is the final result of content creation

I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.
