My twin brother and I both quit smoking last week, cold turkey. Using willpower, anti-smoking lozenges, and each other as motivation, I have absolutely no doubt that we have finally kicked this disgusting habit at the age of 64. Lung hairs should start recovering slowly after just 4 weeks!

Spain’s marine protected areas (MPAs) are still being decimated by bottom trawling.

We took legal action last year but Spain has issued more fishing licenses for bottom trawling inside these MPAs since then.

So we’re going back to court with @oceanaeurope.bsky.social to protect these zones.

The latest Cloudflare and Amazon outages have got me thinking about utilities. We can't build modern software without dependencies. The days of running entirely on the client are over, which I see as a good thing. The cost is that we rely on infrastructure.
