Okay, I think I'm becoming sympathetic with the "show important landmarks" aspect of those "all over the world" montages. I'm trying to avoid that... but all the down-home personal scenes look so GENERIC, and I don't want to use place-name captions (there are story reasons not to). (1/2)

Trump posted a video depicting the first Black president and his wife as apes and his excuse for this is that it's a riff on The Lion King, a movie that does not feature any apes. Somehow this was a one-day story and we've already moved on.

There's a Little Rascals short called "Second Childhood" which has not aged well in this regard.

The short posits that pills and adequate care are detrimental to an elderly person's well-being, compared to two brats who barge in and sing "Oh Susanna" off-key.

Apparently I do get paid for jury duty. This is a crazy new experience for me, as if a genie had suddenly materialized in my life for a brief moment and magicked me a sugar-free mint chip shake.

I'm a bit disappointed that "Blake's 7" has been gradually sidelining Jenna and Callie in Season 2. Callie, in fact, is almost Deanna Troi now. And I had to groan when Jenna showed stone-faced jealousy over Blake kissing a girl.

Their badassery in Season 1 was a selling point for me. :/
