Sorry for fans of Zach in the current timeline. We concluded he's still dating Jake's cousin Allie, so most of the time now when we want Jake hanging out with someone, it's been Nate.

1st job was entertainment accountant, tho more directors/writers than actors. The handful of actors seldom came in and usually only the bookkeepers talked to them, but I did briefly get introduced and shook hands with Esai Morales.
Seemed very nice, and according to his bookkeeper he very much is.

Every once in awhile I get inspired to try drawing a dance sequence sketch.
And I always give up and never get further than this cuz drawing dancing IS FUCKING HARD.
Was still having fun drawing Craig even though this isn't even his dance style, it should be Jake.

Time for Harper's semi-annual shower. Which everyone enjoys SO MUCH. This was only cute once I got their expressions to match.
FWIW teh hubby likes chicken w/bacon and ranch. This is why we know Harper does too. I get the easy job: dispensing it.

My brain personally 100% refuses to accept this when I draw, but it's very sage words to be shared.
This also applies to cartoons and comics and basically everything. It doesn’t matter if you have a concept of something already out there. If you love it, do it. Your work will have your unique mark on it by virtue of being made by YOU. (Also two cakes.)
Indie Dev discovers the game they're making basically already exists, worried of being deemed a ripoff. Original dev responds.

A friend showed me a cute Darkwing Duck image of Drake tangled in a Christmas tree while Gosalyn and LP decorate.
I kinda wished LP was in the tree instead. So while I ran with that concept, I tried a totally different tact.

I think it's been said drawing comics is a marathon, not a sprint. You literally cannot just jump in; you have to be primed and ready, either by constant practice, or at least being very warmed up.
This is why I make so many dumb little sketches. Drawing must be second nature to do comics.
