Biggest waste of money in the Amazon universe: Returning damaged cheap merchandise. I just packed a return package to Amazon for a $4 deck of cards, damaged in transit to me. Why can't I simply send Bezos a photograph of the item, then let Amazon's AI decide on the legitimacy of my refund request?

(2/2) Several OR cities are dealing with this due to property tax compression from taxes passed in the 90s, but no other city of Salem’s size in OR has even THOUGHT about shuttering their libraries. City Manager and Council seem all for funding the cops though!!
