America's first ever esports champion was Rebecca Heineman, a trans woman. She went on to found some of your favorite video game studios and worked on your favorite video games. Next time you see somebody rail about 'woke' and 'DEI'
Remember that.
Remember her.

Trans people have exhaustively detailed the links between the anti-trans and anti-abortion movements, we warned that transphobia was a wedge issue for the religious right to roll back women's rights, only for us to be ignored, and of course UK TERFs are setting their sights on abortion.
Kathleen Stock has written an article against "abortion permissiveness". She claims abortion requires "justification" saying the state should limit "unacceptable decision-making" by women about their own bodies.

This is who anti-trans activists proclaim as the feminist thought leaders of our time.

I keep seeing people trying to play down the payment processor situation, saying it's only the extreme NSFW accounts getting sacked.

Well. One of the cutest SFW furry artist got banned from PayPal. What more proof do y'all need that we need to keep fighting the good fight?

Also go support Nakufin.
I'm devastated, if I don't find an alternative that works with argentinians I'm contemplating the worst, I can't do regular jobs, art was my job for around 15 years

Sent more letters and made my calls. The MasterCard line wouldn't even connect so I left a message with the CEO instead.

I'm going up North for a few days, good luck out there everyone!

I should add that for the first time in a while the VISA rep was very candid with me. She said that they keep bringing this up to the managers and asking for help/instructions but aren't getting anything from higher-up.

So as a reminder: DO NOT BE A DICK TO THE REPS!!!!

Visa and Mastercard have retrained their employees to lie and shut us down, including giving them permission to hang up on us.

We have to switch to a new line of attack.

ComData is the company that handles Mastercard customer service- calling Comdata could possibly help put pressure on Mastercard.
Spoke with an anon source who had an interesting insight into Visa policy. Per a convo with their bank on the Steam/itchio situation today, Visa put new restrictions into place due to a new "government policy." The exact phrase used by Visa. No specific country was listed as the source of the policy

Damn fucked up how the duopoly that's super powerful and nobody can stand-up against has to fold against a government policy all of a sudden and it's the policy of one government dictating what every other nation does.

Keep calling Visa/MasterCard. Fuck 'em. They can stop this shit whenever.

So instead of addressing any issues, Mastercard is FURTHER supressing criticism.

They're panicking.

I think it's more helpful to quote retweet bad news in it with what steps to take to fix it or spread the word to fix it, instead of "it's all hopeless we're fucked it's so over I'm screwed."

Don't just stand there and say things are hopeless because it drags others down too and nothing gets fixed

Today's reminder to keep the pressure on! They're hoping we'll shut up, get tired or bored, and just walk away.

If we keep trashing their operational metrics, they'll fold first.

Destroy the SCREEN Act. Destroy KOSA. Never stop calling. Never stop mailing. Never stop screaming.

This administration is FURIOUS that the entire population didn’t become bootlickers overnight, and our right to a free and open internet is the biggest reason why.

I called my rep (Blue district).

Mentioned the KOSA and the SCREEN act, how it's censorious and even a National Security threat, citing Social Security leaks

He said that they've gotten hundreds of calls about KOSA (nice) but they didn't hear about the SCREEN act since it's "not bi-partisan." 🤔
Be aware that another shitty bill has been introduced: The SCREEN Act.

If passed, it would require Full. Age. Verification.

Like KOSA, call all your reps & tell them what a horrible idea this is.

Spread this pls.

I desperately beg of other countries to stand up to this fuck. We’re trying here too but ffs other countries need to respond to this.
During several speeches before the U.N., U.S. delegates have denounced so-called “gender ideology” or pushed for language that “recognizes women are biologically female and men are biologically male," which leaves no room for the existence of intersex, transgender and nonbinary people.

Keep calling. This issue can't die.

It starts with delisting games, but the likely goal is to enact a new morality police that can silence marginal groups and anyone who speaks out against the status quo.

The payment processors are feeling the squeeze! Let your voice be heard!
The recent wave of restrictions of pornography (including kink / fetish stuff) in art, games, videos, etc. by payment processors and puritan groups runs to the political sphere at top. This recent censorship is a part of Project 2025, as it turns out. It's no conspiracy. THEY WANT TO CENSOR US!

cannot be stressed how much of a fucking disaster the death of section 230 would be for online communication. Sites would just start auto-removing anything even close to topics that could get them in trouble. The whole point of 230 is that they can't realistically police everything fairly
Collective shout is a convenient scapegoat. The current administration’s considering this one of their objectives to abolish section 230 of the online communication decency act.

The section that absolves websites and online programs of being held responsible for user content.
