Great! Because of course, everyone needs more films and no-one needs nature.

Not all pollinators can be seen flying around during the day! Some visit flowers in the dark, like some species of moth. These fluffy ones can be more effective pollinators than bees for some species of plant!

Hunting for fungi in an Inner London woodland
It’s November so it would be extremely rude not to go and look for interesting urban fungi, at least once. I’m a beginner when it comes to identifying fungi species, but I’m hopin…

Cannon Street stretches from St. Paul's Churchyard to the junction of King William Street. Candle-makers were located there during the medieval period, and it became known as Candlewright Street, eventually corrupted to its modern name.

It’s mad how much this one tree is talked about and yet the same focus isn’t given to actually important habitats being torn up. Why hasn’t Labour banned peat compost for instance? I’m told it’s symbollic of how much people care about nature… www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Did u know? For the small souls in your garden, the very cold weather can be as dry as very hot weather,so always provide daily fresh water. To slow freezing rates, put balls, sticks & other objects into your ponds/birdbaths etc. It'll leave tiny areas underneath that are ice-free for longer. 🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🐦‍⬛🌍

Just say no to Peat. Bloody ridiculous that we are using it for our mostly imported ornamental plants (amongst other things)
Sign the petition asking the Government to finally end peat compost sales with legislation in 2026 - no more delays. It’s been a long and tiring road to get peat compost banned and we need your signatures and shares now more than ever to get it done. actnow.peatfreepartnership.org.uk/end-peat-sal...

The garden design world has been working toward making water retention planting areas happen over the last 20 yrs or so and it is taking off now. There are schemes in most cities in the UK, most councils are up for the idea as they see them work. Native and mixed planting.
What if cities redirected rainwater into long pits of native plants that could use the water to improve growth, sequestering carbon from the atmosphere; increasing biodiversity, and creating habitats for wildlife, instead of flooding people’s homes down river and creating more pollution.
Finally got the chance to see this sustainable drainage channel in Bristol doing its thing during some heavy rain
