The NBA’s attempts to fix the lottery over the years, including their reported new ideas at reform, are worthy. But nothing’s going to stop bad teams from tanking to try and get great young talent. The lottery itself may be the problem. In

For me, after Christmas Day, the biggest games in the calendar are Dec 31 Spurs at Knicks, January 13 Spurs at OKC, January 20 Spurs at Rockets, January 28 Spurs at Rockets, March 13 Nuggets at Spurs.
Gonna find out if the big fella and his team can be stopped.
Can't wait to see him against Jokic.

Gradey Dick and Ja'Kobe Walter have more dynamic talent than Jamison Battle. They have more upside. The Raptors have more invested in them. But when it comes to consistency and making the most of opportunities this season, it's not close. If the goal is to win games, Battle needs a bigger role.

If the Raptors had lost to the Nets in the fashion that Rockets had lost to the Kings, I'd be happy. Competitive, down to the wire, you can't win them all, and even bad teams are still NBA teams, capable of winning at any time.

If the Raptors had lost to the Nets in the fashion that Rockets had lost to the Kings, I'd be happy. Competitive, down to the wire, you can't win them all, and even bad teams are still NBA teams, capable of winning at any time.

I wish we had more independent media that would ask some gotcha questions to the Raptors, like to Gradey and IQ, 'Why would anybody purchase any product you endorse after the way you've played most of this year' or Scottie 'Why should you be an All Star and not MPJ who just waxed you?'.
