Well I am here. The white one is Penelope and the blue one is Livie.
Do not use own brand batteries or duracell. Stick to energizer. They seem to be the best for not leaking.

Isopropyl alcohol should clean out the gunk however the corrosion will have set in. Flat + connectors can be wet and dry cleaned and then retinning using solder. I replace the springs with springs from cheapo battery holders you can buy from ebay.

Our road was basically falling apart before it was resurfaced.
After repeated requests to RBG we were told verbally they put all the worst roads in a hat and then pick out at random ones to do until the budget runs out.

I was today years old when I found out Richmal Crompton was a woman. I guess when reading them as a kid I had not given it much thought and thought Richmal was an odd name.

Driving older cars I feel potholes more than most. I became convinced my local area (Greenwich) was worse than those around it. I put it down to driving there most but it seems it actually is...

My review: The album in full can be shocking. It is very heavy in places with Ronsons guitar turned up to 10, Bowie had obviously heard the first couple of Sabbath albums. Visconti's production puts his bass high up in the mix. The Moog (or is it a Melotron) giving an other worldly sound in places.

Posted this a few times on the Bowie anniversary but not over here so hereโ€™s one of my favourite tributes of that day, from the organist at Kelvingrove Museum.
