Much easier to ride than a unicycle Kate. I have tried and failed to master the unicycle but was able (once shown how to get on) to ride one first go no issue. It is just scary because you have no brakes to speak of and you are so high up.

Excellent. I enjoy every one you post..whether for the nostalgia, the old cars, the sites or the moments spent thinking 'I wonder how that panned out'.

I saw Roger sing as a guest of Bill Wyman's rhythm kings.
A free concert in Southwark park and what a lineup! Bill Wyman, Roger Chapman, Gary Brooker, Andy Fairweather Low, Albert Lee to name the ones I remember.
A big imposing man with such a voice.

Made between 1955 and 1969. The scripts were by Michael.Hardwicke. Really worth a listen.
There are quite a lot of them on Spotify.

Wild cat strikes? The 3 day week? Power cuts? IRA bombs?

A well balanced and measured letter.
Back through the years telephony was killing amateur radio, SSB was killing amateur radio, packet was killing amateur radio, foundation licences were killing amateur radio etc.
Amateur radio has always developed and is a broad church. No one makes thrm use FT8.
