Obama: When I think back to a year ago, I remember talking to some people, who would say, this election doesn't matter all that much. That however the next president ended up being, it wasn't going to matter to them. If nothing else, the last nine months should have cured us of that idea.

It’s pretty damn validating to hear Barack Obama say the same things we’ve been shouting for months, and longer.

he’s still got it, folks

I’m not going to lie, there’s a tiny part of me that wants to see them pull this third term shit in a way that lets Trump run against Obama the way he always wanted to and get absolutely obliterated

Holy shit. Friends, here is a panel on the question "why don't Americans trust the media?'

I scrolled ... scrolled ... increasingly amazed ... scrolled ...

Nope. No one so much as *mentions* the 6-decade, billionaire-funded campaign by the right to destroy trust in media! Not even in passing!

Unitary executive theory is not wearing well, to say the least. Soon the judges and legal scholars who hatched it (based mostly on some tiny bits and pieces of constitutional text and a tendentious historical account) are going to be lepers. And they are going to richly deserve it.

I’ll say it again. Not only did they invent this theory. They CHOSE to deliver it to THIS guy, a dangerous raving selfish moron. They could have waited four years and given it all to President Vance or whatever. They chose to give it to Trump.

in point of fact, FDR’s open line of communication with black leaders like A. Philip Randolph absolutely strained his relationships with southern lawmakers and he did it anyway under the view that he was president for the whole country
to be more specific, although FDR had to play ball with southern segregationists in congress, he did not do so by sacrificing black voters in the urban north to their whims.

At the same time as Mulroney is filling-in as host of The West Block, he is also working for two registered lobby groups and as an adviser to several companies – some of whose CEOs he's interviewed on Global News 640 Toronto radio
