For all the fearmongering about capital flight from New York City, there’s an exodus few want to talk about: working people.
Sky-high rents and outrageous child care costs are already pushing families out of the city they keep running.

Things are pretty bleak so I'm trying to read more as that's always been a source of comfort, particularly comics. Absolute Wonder Woman is so dang good!

Exactly, the entire argument for this narrative is that kids rarely die of COVID. That’s true, but it wasn’t the justification for the policy. Teachers *do* die of COVID and kids *do* spread COVID.
Some studies find school closures were the most effective intervention for preventing cases!
