Some classes have skills that can change them, yeah. Orator is the main one for actually shifting it for good. Mystic can mess with it too, but mostly in the negative direction, lol

Be careful though, if BR gets too low or FA gets too high, your units can leave - you will be warned before it happens though so it's kinda hard to have happen unless you're doing it on purpose

Also, brave and faith are alterable, you don't have to get new units for that. (Unless you want to!) every four points gained or lost in BR/FA during a battle gives you one permanently, so you can just sit around raising or lowering it at the end of a battle as much as you like

In the remake they let you back out to the world map from series battles now, so you can't get softlocked anymore.

Also, every class is viable - the game has literally been cleared with parties made of every single class by themselves. So don't be afraid to experiment, mixing and matching is half the fun.

Faith, on the other hand, is trickier - if you're casting, you want it. If you're gonna use magic for heals, you want it on both the caster and your units that you're casting on.
If you're not doing either of those? You can safely dump it and laugh at enemy mages as they tickle you

High brave is good for literally everyone (since it determines whether or not your reactions go off) EXCEPT if you're using that character for Move-Find item - luckily there's only like two places in the entire game where that's even worth thinking about and they're both optional and late-game.
